一、大赛目的

为营造良好的英语学习氛围，提高我校学生的英语翻译水平及英语整体应用能力，并为无锡市第六届翻译大赛选送决赛选手，外语系特举办此次大赛。

二、参赛对象

江阴学院在校学生。具体要求如下：

2011、2012级学生英语应用能力考试70分以上或大学英语四级考试425分以上（或其它英语水平考试同等成绩），由英语任课教师推荐；2013级的同学由英语任课教师推荐。

本次大赛设一等奖1名，二等奖3 名，三等奖6名。

获奖选手将获得证书。优秀选手将代表学院参加无锡市翻译大赛。

五、试卷题型与样卷

试卷题型

1、中译英翻译：两段各约100个汉字的商务类段落翻译；占总分的50%；

2、英译中翻译：两段各约150个单词的商务类段落翻译，从中选取一段进行翻译；占总分的50%；

3、参赛选手自备纸质字典一本。

Or did he envy my luck?” When we look back, doubts like these can make us feel bad. But it’s too late.

Why do we go wrong about our friends or our enemies? Sometimes what people say hides their real meaning. And if we don’t really listen, we miss the feeling behind the words. How can you tell the real meaning behind someone’s words? One way is to take a good look at the person talking. Do his words fit the way he looks? Does what he says square with the tone of voice? What’s the look in his eyes like? Stop and think. A minute you spend thinking about the real meaning of what people say to you may save another mistake.
